You are Not a Good Person!
--
I am a sinner, you are a sinner. This is the fact that everyone disbelieved, many people thought that if they don’t do anything wrong like for example murdering, stealing, corruption, they are the “good guy”. NO! Everybody is a sinner, this is the biggest lie of the human being, believing that you are a good person. Have you ever steal something? Have you ever say God’s name in vain? Have you ever look at the opposite sex with lust, the Bible says you just committed adultery. The bible says in Romans 3:10, “No one is righteous — not even one.” and in Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
So we humans deserved to be punished in hell for all of our mistakes, and actually there’s nothing WE (humans) can do about it, even if you are the most saint people on the planet, you will never get out from this punishment. You can get to Heaven by doing good things, this is a supernatural force that you and I cannot even understand even if we want to.
But here’s the good news, God loves you! He loves us so much that he is willingly giving his one and only son which through him we can be saved, through Jesus Christ. Imagine there’s a very big cliff between humans and God. Once there was no cliff, but because we sinned, the glory God departs from us and we can no longer be one with him because we were filthy by the sin. But Jesus, he stands as a bridge of peace between humans and God, so that through him, through the bridge we can cross this cliff to our God. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.
When I think about it, it just showed to me that God’s grace is very big his love for humans is infinitely deep and how humans are very corrupt, stupid, and very unwisely to reject this Love that he has given to us for FREE!
You need Jesus! We need Jesus! Repent from your sins, be humble before him, don’t be ashamed to confess your sins, get on your knees and ask for forgiveness and Jesus to enter your heart. 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
